Hello! My name is Max and I’m offering English and Japanese lessons for both adults and children, both of which I have over 2 years of experience teaching. I am also fully vaccinated, so face-to-face lessons are not a problem!

My most recent job was in Japan, where I worked as an English teacher at an elementary and junior high school. To spare you having to learn about the Japanese school system, I worked with children between the ages of 6 to 13, most of the classes being at the elementary school, meaning 6 to 11 years old. I had spent a year teaching at those public schools in Gunma prefecture, and before that I attended a Japanese language college for half a year. The job offered a great opportunity for me to also practice Japanese, as I had to use it and comprehend it every day.

Before Japan I worked as an English teacher at a private language school in Wrocław for a year and 4 months, where around 60% of my classes were adults, while the rest were elementary school children and teenagers. We utilised Callan Method, so the classes mostly focused on speaking, however grammar still played a big part of it.
