Hello!
My name is Melissa and I am from London, UK.
I have lived in Hradec Králové for 4 years with my husband and two children. I have a Bachelors degree in Psychology with a specialty in Language acquisition research which helped a great deal while raising our two bilingual children!
I accept students of any age. With young children, I follow play based learning. Children learn through imitation which works best when they’re having fun and role playing.
The older the student, the more structure is needed but not to worry, I assess and prepare for each lesson we have together.
I currently teach Conversational English at Sion High School.
I speak with a very clear and easy to understand accent (think: Harry Potter)
In England, my accent is classed as “The Queens English” - if you look on YouTube, you will see what I mean!

Je velmi trpělivá a dokáže rozdělit problém na malé kroky, takže se vše snadno pochopí. Také má lekce s mojí mladší sestrou, která chodí do druhé třídy, a po pouhém jednom měsíci už mluví opravdu dobře. Budete moc rádi, že je vaší novou učitelkou!
