I originally come from the Czech Republic but I lived in London, Wales, Jersey and Liverpool for 4 years. I heard of a variety of accents and it helped me to become a better speaker and understand different accents or dialects. I did the IELTS test in London and I am not without mistakes but my way is to keep practising and master it. I started to learn Japanese. No worries I speak Czech as well, but my point of view is to show you that the most important thing is to use the language actively and start now, not tomorrow.
