Hello. My name is teacher Mau. I am an English teacher. I studied in the Philippines and my coursework focused on how to help students become successful readers and writers. I have been in my country for quite some time, teaching English to adults and children and preparing students for their speaking, listening, and conversational skills in English. I like to motivate students to practice their skills, so they can speak English more fluently, and increase their confidence level to communicate in English. So, I am not just a teacher but also a mentor and guide to my students. I have had 3 years of experience as a private tutor, I have been tutoring students of different ages. The subjects I have taught include general English, grammar, and essay writing. Also, I am looking for an opportunity to teach online while continuing my master's degree to sustain my needs in school. I am currently enrolled in the University of Western Mindanao where I am pursuing my master in Communication Arts and how it relates to reading abilities in children.
